Re: pilot road 2's

I recently purchased my second set of Thai made RoadII tires.
I was very impresed with the old Spain made tires, but I would rate these as a C+ about on par with the Shinko Raven in traction both wet and dry.
Thease tires were slippery untill completely scrubbed in. This took about 200 miles of agressive riding. after 1000 mile They will still slip at much more then a 70% pace.
I love the pilot power tires (still made in spain) grip is amazing once warm, turn in is very quick and they are the best rain tire I've ever ridden. Unfortunately they only last about 40% as long as the road II tire.
the Road II tire is the longest lasting tire I've ever ridden (out of 20+ tire brands so far)
The new road 3 tire (expected this January) is rumored (inside sourse at Michelin) to be made only in Spain. I have high hopes for this tire.
